Online photo editing continues to be a hot market. From Flektor, Slide and others with a MySpace focus, to Adobe’s development of an online version of Photoshop later this year, there’s a lot on offer or soon coming to a browser near you.

I have to wonder - with all the easy-to-use consumer tools for both photo and video, how do we protect the professional level work from being devalued? (Have a look at what happened to typography).

Also, (how) are these online tools going to morph into professional server-side tools that change our studio workflows?
